Introduction:
Islam is the last and most perfected divine
message of Allah. To this end human being need to embrace this Islam and to put
in action all its laws.
Islam is a perpetual religion with high objectives that move with time. It came to alleviate and put an end to people sufferings and to extend its merciful hands to the people from their long time oppression and persecutions in order to take them from darkness to divine light.
In Islam there is an answer to every issues and it is the responsibility of all the Muslims to extend the Islamic teachings to all part of the world, to show that he has fulfill his responsibility towards Islam.
Therefore Imam Ali (A.S) foundation under the supervision of the great Ayatollah Sistani (may Allah preserve him) has taken the responsibility of this great divine message by translating and publishing the concept of Islam according to the view of the purified and infallible Imams from Ahl al-Bayt (p.b.o.th) to the whole world base on the authentic tradition of the Prophet and free from the misguided groups.
So by benefiting from the previous experience right from 1994 to this present time, we are able to achieve two objectives as follows:-
Short time objective and long time objective.
Short time objective: - This involves sending the concept and Islamic knowledge to the Muslim areas.
Long time objective: - This involve searching for the needs of every locality base on their different atmosphere and knowing the appropriate ways to alleviate their problems regarding their needs in terms of Islamic books that were translated by our honourable translators.
Due to the process this foundation has followed, we are able in a very short period of time to translate more than 250 books in 30 different existing languages in different fields like, Ideology, Islamic laws etc. which has been accepted by a lot of our readers.
We seek from Almighty Allah to accept from us this little work for the sake of propagating this religion. He Who hears and accept prayers.

Sections in Imam Ali (A.S) foundation:
This foundation has different sections which are as follows:
1- Translation section:
This
is the most important section of this foundation, it translate books concerning
the right of the Prophet's household. In this section books has been translated
into 30 different world languages, the language which is at least spoken by a
million people.
The books were translated by experts and graduated students from same language. Apart from the translators being an expert in translation they also at the same time possess Islamic education.
After each translation it goes through other process like correction by more expert ones before taking to the ministry of Irshad (Islamic guidance ministry) for endorsement.
2- Magazine section:
We
have establish a cultural and religious magazine title 'Mujtaba' specially for
children between 10 to 15 years for the purpose of training them Islamically and
elevating the understanding of the new generation. This will assist to transfer
the Islamic concept not only to the elderly ones but also to the teenagers
especially to those in the far western countries.
The said magazine commence its monthly operation
Jumada al-Awwal 1420 A.H. and publish any issue concerning Islamic occasions and
festival that occur in that very month.
We try to include in the magazine the following: - stories and supplication, the holy Prophet (P.B.U.H), Imam Ali (p.b.o.h) several occasion, stories of the Prophets, maxims, the greatness of the scholars, Islamic moral, stories on moral, politeness and virtue, about Paradise, stories about the household of the Prophet (p.b.o.th), laws concerning the youth and other interesting stories.
Presently the magazine is publish in languages like: Arabic, English, Urdu, Turkish (Istanbul), Azeri, Indonesian etc.
Apart from publishing unit of this section, other unit like scenario stories, religious writers, specialist in children and youth, experience artist etc. also collaborate with this section as well.
3- Website section:
The
second objective of the foundation is to create contact with our readers to
enable their hands
reach the already translated works by the foundation. For this reason we have
establish a website with the name of the Commander of the faithful Imam Ali (p.b.o.h)
[http://www.alimamali.com] during the holy festival of Ghadeer Khum in
2003, so that our readers will benefit and have access to knowledge and other
great religious works that is up to the world standard.
Other sections like the translation, magazine, typing unit, graphic unit, etc. has cooperated with the website section.
4- Cultural and information section:
Due
to the duty of this foundation, it deems it necessary to establish this section
with the intention of having ways for cultures and information. This will enable
the foundation to knows the cultural and religious need of different
communities, receiving recommended culture, attending meetings and different
seminars with important personalities in Islamic world.
5- Administration and finance section:
The foundation is not left out, is just like other setup. In this section issues concerning administration and finance, which is very sensitive are run so that the objective of the foundation should not be disordered. For the smooth running of the foundation this section was established.
6-
Exhibition and store for the foundation product:
Every cultural organization that has products look for way on how to render services to his addressers, so it needs a certain setup that will take up this duty. Therefore this section was established for that purpose in order to find better ways in pleasing our customers, and attending different exhibition and trade fairs. Transaction with the customers is part of the duty of this section.
